Scope and acceptance
A page, a call, or a free consultation is not a contract to build. Work starts when you accept a written scope. The scope says what is included and excluded. The estimator shows an indicative range. Indicative estimate. Final fixed quote after a free scope review. An estimate is not binding until you accept the scope.
Your responsibilities
You confirm the facts we rely on, including past performance and any government registration. You remain responsible for eligibility, certifications, approvals, and official submissions. Oculeus is an independent consultancy and is not part of, affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised to act on behalf of SAM.gov, the US General Services Administration or any US government agency. Government registrations and eligibility determinations remain the client's responsibility.
Invoices and taxes
Invoices are issued by Oculeus (Pty) Ltd. The tax treatment of a given invoice will be stated on that invoice after advice. This draft does not set a tax rate.
Intellectual property
You own the deliverables we create for you under the accepted scope, once paid as the scope requires. Third-party software, fonts, stock, and our pre-existing tools stay on their own licenses. We do not assign those.
No guaranteed results
We do not guarantee search rankings, leads, revenue, contract awards, teaming agreements, or a place on any government schedule.
Liability
Liability cap: as set out in your written engagement agreement. The cap, and any exclusions in that agreement, apply to the extent the governing law allows.
Governing law
Governing law and venue: as set out in your written engagement agreement.
Disputes
Write to consulting@oculeusltd.com first and describe the dispute. Further steps depend on the governing law in your written engagement agreement and on the accepted scope.
